LESSON 1: Discussion of Gnosticism
and The Tree of Life

WHAT UNIVERSAL GNOSTICISM IS NOT:

  1. Dogmatic
  2. Dictatorial
  3. Prejudicial
  4. Rigid
  5. Inflexible
  6. Impractical
  7. Opinionated

WHAT UNIVERSAL GNOSTICISM IS:

  1. Moderate and Free
  2. Sensible and Easy to Understand
  3. Tolerant and Forgiving
  4. Reasonable and Flexible
  5. Humane and Loving
  6. Open-minded and Considerate
  7. Practical and Accepting

SOME UNIVERSAL GNOSTICS BELIEVE:

  1. The Divine is everything that is
  2. The Divine created everything
  3. Everything that exists is a part of the Divine
  4. The Divine is more than the creation
  5. We have free choice to determine our own life
  6. Each of us has the right to commune with the Divine
  7. Everybody incarnated now chose to be incarnated now

UNIVERSAL GNOSTICS ARE ASKED TO BELIEVE:

To be a Universal Gnostic there is no requirement that you believe anything more than the Divine created you. Whatever more than this you believe is your own personal spiritual path and we support you in following that path.

You can go to Lesson One Part Two - The Tree of Life anytime, but we believe the following material will help you decide if you're really a Universal Gnostic or not.

You have the right to be a Gnostic Baha'i, Buddhist, Cathar, Catholic, Christian, Confucian, Druid, Essene, Goddess Worshiper, Jain, Jew, Hindu, Morman, Muslim, Pagan, Protestant, Religious Scientist, Shaman, Shinto, Sikh, Spiritual Scientist, Taoist, Wiccan, Yoga or a member or follower of any other religious or spiritual path or any combinations of these paths. We support you in continuing to follow your own unique spiritual path.

Within the Universal Gnostic Fellowship are several churches, fellowships, groups and temples. See Universal Gnostic Fellowships for a list of most of these organizations.

THE TREE OF LIFE

This completes our discussion of Universal Gnosticism. If anything we say resonates with you or not, we encourage you to learn more about the Tree of Life in Part Two of Lesson One.
